I worked on the redesign and modernization of the Salebot CRM system. Prior to the update, the platform’s interface was not responsive, which made it difficult to use across different devices, and many interface solutions and visual patterns were outdated and no longer aligned with modern UX/UI standards.
As part of the project, the design system was completely rebuilt: the visual hierarchy, typography, grid system, and set of interface components were redesigned. Interface controls were standardized, the screen structure was improved, and the overall user interaction logic was refined. Particular attention was given to responsiveness to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience across different screen sizes and devices.

The complexity of the project is that it didn't even have a UI Kit at the start, and the entire system was fragmented, using different tokens, paddings, and other components, and there was no unified system. Additionally, the project was written by multiple people in Ruby, which made it challenging to test the system on production without causing constant errors in the backend.

Results
We built a full product design process — from research to implementation. The project was in critical condition: an outdated stack, no systematic approach to the interface, and virtually no responsiveness across devices.
What Was Done

We conducted a series of in-depth user interviews and analysed existing usage scenarios. This helped us identify key friction points, non-obvious behavioural patterns, and scenarios the product wasn't addressing at all. All design decisions were grounded in research findings.
UX

Working closely with frontend developers, we built a design system from scratch and integrated it into the team's workflow. This significantly accelerated the development of new features and ensured interface consistency across all screens. The main challenges were the legacy tech stack and a tight implementation timeline.

We fully redesigned the interface — updated the visual language, established a clear element hierarchy, and rebuilt responsiveness from the ground up. Previously, the project was barely functional on mobile devices.
